- Your API Key: You must provide your own Google Gemini API key to use this platform. The API key remains your property and is stored temporarily in your browser session only.
- No Storage: Interfaces for AI does not permanently store, save, or have access to your API key. It is only used during your active session for API communication.
- Key Security: You are solely responsible for the security and management of your API key. Keep it confidential and do not share it with unauthorized parties.
2. Billing and Usage Costs
Important: Using Google Gemini API may result in charges to your Google Cloud account depending on your usage and plan.
Free Tier Limitations

Paid Tier Charges
When you exceed free tier limits or use paid features, you will be charged according to Google's pricing structure:
- Gemini 2.5 Flash: $0.30 per 1M input tokens, $2.50 per 1M output tokens
- Gemini 2.5 Pro: $1.25 per 1M input tokens (≤200k), $10.00 per 1M output tokens
- Gemini 2.0 Flash: $0.10 per 1M input tokens, $0.40 per 1M output tokens

Free Tier (Unpaid Services)
- Google may use your prompts and generated responses to improve their services
- Human reviewers may read and annotate your content for quality improvement
- Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or personal information when using free tier

- Google does not use your prompts or responses to improve their products
- Your data is processed according to Google's Data Processing Addendum
- Enhanced privacy protections apply to paid usage
4. Content and Usage Restrictions
You agree to comply with Google's usage policies:
- Age Requirement: You must be 18 years or older to use the API
- Prohibited Content: No hate speech, harassment, sexually explicit content, or dangerous content
- No Medical Advice: Do not use for clinical practice or medical diagnosis
- Content Accuracy: AI-generated content may be inaccurate - use discretion before relying on it

- Content Responsibility: You are responsible for all content you generate and how it is used
7. Platform Liability
Interfaces for AI:
- Does not control Google's billing or pricing
- Is not responsible for any charges incurred through your API usage
- Does not guarantee API availability or service continuity
- Provides tools to help you use the API more effectively, but billing remains between you and Google
